Here in the Nampa School District, we offer a series of career pathways that students can pursue. Examples of this are business, photography, engineering, law enforcement, and welding. These provide students with the ability to try out or pursue a career that interests them. I highly suggest that before you sign up for your classes each year, that you look at all the career pathways and either take the classes for the career you already are interested in or try out a career if you do not know what you want to do.
If you go through each course for a specific pathway, then you have the opportunity to get an honor cord for your career pathway. If you are interested in that, then make sure you speak to your teachers for that pathway right away. This starts Freshman year. If you know what you need to do to get the honor cord, then you can plan accordingly to walk on graduation with an honor cord.
